Courses & registration
How do I register for a course?
Fill in the pre-registration form on our Registration page and choose your program and preferred date. After we receive your pre-registration, we contact you with all registration and payment details.
Who are the courses for?
Our courses are designed for students, researchers, laboratory staff and industry professionals – from beginners to advanced participants. The recommended background for each course is listed on its course page.
Do I need previous laboratory experience?
It depends on the course. Many of our programs are suitable for beginners; advanced courses list the recommended experience under “Recommended Background” on the course page. If you are unsure, just ask us.
Can you offer a course tailored to our team?
Yes. With our Customized Training Program we design training around your scientific or institutional needs – for individuals, research groups or companies.
Format, language & location
Where do the courses take place?
Our hands-on courses take place in the laboratories at BioLabs Heidelberg, Nikola-Tesla-Straße 1, 69124 Heidelberg. Some programs, such as the GMP & GCP Certificate Program, are delivered live online.
In which language are the courses taught?
Our courses are taught in English or German, depending on the selected course date. The dates for each language are listed on the course page.
How large are the groups?
We work in small groups to ensure intensive supervision and individual support at the bench.
Prices & certificate
What does a course cost?
Each course page lists three prices: an Industry Price, a reduced Early Bird Price and a Student Price. All listed prices include VAT.
Do I receive a certificate?
Yes. After successful participation you receive an XTech Academy Certificate of Completion.
