Freelance Lab Trainer – Cell Culture & Molecular Biology (m/f/d) Teach hands-on modules in our small-group courses at BioLabs Heidelberg and help participants turn theory into real lab skills. View details
Your tasks
- Deliver theory and bench sessions in our 3- to 5-day training programs
- Prepare protocols, reagents and course materials
- Guide small groups at the bench and answer individual questions
- Help us develop and improve course content
Requirements
- PhD or MSc in life sciences with several years of practical lab experience
- Expertise in at least one area: cell culture, CRISPR-Cas9, PCR/qPCR, flow cytometry, NGS or bioinformatics
- Experience working under BSL-2 conditions
- You enjoy teaching and explaining – fluent English

Your tasks
- Prepare the lab, equipment and reagents before each course
- Support trainers and participants during the training days
- Handle registrations, emails and course logistics
- Help with website and social media content
Requirements
- Enrolled in biology, biotechnology, biochemistry or a related program
- Basic lab experience and a careful, organised way of working
- Good English; German is helpful
- Reliable, friendly and a team player
